Description:
How do you take an integrated physical education and life management course and turn it into an engaging experience for online students? Florida Virtual School sought to answer this question by implementing a non-linear, project-based learning approach in their new HOPE (Health Opportunities through Physical Education) course. Find out how high school students track their fitness, collaborate with others, and learn about important health topics in this learning opportunity. This session will discuss the instructional design strategies, as well as FLVS pedagogy, used in developing this course.
